Are you looking for a new adventure rooted in community, new experiences and friendship? We’re inviting you to explore becoming an Assistant. Assistants come to live in a L’Arche community, provide support and share in friendships with Core Members (persons with intellectual disabilities). Assistants find their time at L’Arche to be filled with meaning, growth, friendship, and fun.

You can find our communities from coast to coast! W’re located in big cities and small towns, with 18 and counting communities spread across the United States from Seattle to Atlanta.

Some of our communities are large and established, while others are fresh and growing! We have various models of community life and many career opportunities. Discover the place for you!
