Cleveland\u202fis home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the free\u202fCleveland\u202fMuseum of Art. You\u2019ll also find parks, trails, and great outdoor recreation along Lake Erie. It\u2019s a great city for baseball, football, and basketball fans. Playhouse Square, in downtown\u202fCleveland, is the largest performing arts center in the United States outside of New York.\u202f L\u2019Arche\u202fCleveland\u202fhouses are on the East side of Cleveland proper.\u202f\u202fCleveland\u202fsees snow in the winter and hot temperatures in the summertime.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

L\u2019Arche\u202fCleveland\u2019s fourteen core members range in age from 29 to 83, most of our core members are over 45 years old. We have a combination of live-in and live-out assistants, aged 18-50s with a lot of diversity. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Founded in 1975, L\u2019Arche\u202fCleveland\u202fis a well-established community and has a combination of long-term and new assistants and collaborative leader who started in L\u2019Arche Cleveland 30 years ago as an assistant.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Similar to our counterparts around the world, we are challenged to be \u201cin\u201d community when we are not able to gather together physically. The shortage of assistants makes this even more difficult.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Pre-COVID, we loved to go out and about\u2014bowling, softball, camp, church, plays, restaurants. Come with an open heart and an open mind. We have a very diverse community with all ages, races, cultures and religions and love to learn from each other. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
